About this tour

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure deep into Egypt's western desert landscapes!

On Day 1, we depart early from Cairo towards the beautiful Bahariya Oasis, reaching around noon. After a traditional Bedouin lunch and a visit to the Oasis Heritage Museum, we board our 4x4 vehicles and head into the volcanic landscapes of the Black Desert, visiting English Mountain Tomb and Mount Marsous. We continue to El Hez Village to sip authentic Bedouin tea beside natural sulfur springs and even enjoy a rejuvenating swim.

Our journey proceeds to the glittering Crystal Mountain and the stunning Octopus Rock. Thrill seekers can try sandboarding in Aqabat Valley before we explore the mystical Moon Cave. As sunset approaches, we reach the breathtaking White Desert, exploring Mushroom Rock, Camps Valley, and finally, the New White Desert with its famous Camel Rock and Sphinx Rock formations. We set up camp for a magical night under the stars, with a cozy Bedouin dinner and desert campfire.

Day 2 starts with a desert breakfast, followed by a deeper discovery of the surreal White Desert formations. Later, we drive to the impressive Gara Cave — a hidden gem rich with ancient stalagmites and stalactites, perfect for exploration and photography. After visiting the cave, we return to Bahariya Oasis for a traditional lunch and a relaxing afternoon, perhaps swimming in a natural spring. Overnight stay at a charming eco-lodge.

On Day 3, after breakfast, we visit the highest points of Bahariya for a panoramic view of the oasis, then shop at the local market before heading back to Cairo, full of memories from Egypt’s most magical desert adventure.
